Hello!

Welcome to "Breaking the Good Girl Code: How Women can Stop Self-Sabotaging and Start Leading."

Breaking the Good Girl Code isn’t just another newsletter — it’s a revolution.

If you’re tired of playing small, over-apologizing, and putting everyone else’s needs ahead of your own, this is for you.

We’re diving deep into the hidden patterns of self-sabotage that hold women back, unraveling the myths that keep us stuck, and charting a bold new path toward authentic leadership.

It’s time to rewrite the rules — on your own terms.

Ready to step into your power? Let’s go!

💥 Truth Bomb of the Week

YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO BE THE "NICE" GIRL.

Read that again.

Society trained us from childhood to smile, nod, and keep the peace — even when it COSTS us our truth.

Well, guess what?
Playing nice at the expense of your authenticity is NOT kindness.
It's betrayal.
Your soul deserves better.

If you're always choosing others' comfort above your own truth, your authentic self slowly fades away.
And honey, THAT is way too high a price.

It's time to STOP accepting crumbs when you deserve the whole damn cake.

So ask yourself this:
What uncomfortable truth am I silencing right now JUST to keep the peace?

Sit with that.
Be brave.
Speak your truth — even if your voice shakes a little.

💡 Breaking the Code Spotlight

MEET LISA.
A client who showed up to our very first coaching session apologizing — for her presence. 🤯

Sound familiar?
She'd spent years tiptoeing around others' feelings, DILUTING her voice, and dimming her brilliance.
Because "good girls" don't make waves, right??

WRONG.

Lisa decided enough was enough.
In a meeting at work — one she'd usually nod quietly through — she SPOKE UP.
Clearly. Confidently. Without apologizing ONCE.

The "good girl" rule she BROKE?
"Don't rock the boat. Always be agreeable."

And guess what? confident woman speaking up in a meeting
Her boldness GOT NOTICED.
It landed her a lead role on a dream project she'd secretly eyed for months. 🔥

Want to STOP playing small like Lisa?
Start here:

  • NOTICE when you're about to apologize unnecessarily — swap "sorry" for "thanks for your patience."
  • PRACTICE speaking your truth clearly, even if your voice shakes at first. (It gets easier, I PROMISE.)
  • REMIND yourself daily: Your authentic voice is HELLA VALUABLE — time to USE IT.

🔥 Myth-Busting Moment: "Nice Girls Don't Rock the Boat." OH REALLY?!

Here's the thing: we've been CONDITIONED to believe that being "nice" means nodding, smiling, and NEVER causing waves.

We're taught to prioritize harmony OVER honesty.

But let's get REAL: this "good girl" rule is keeping us small, silent, and seriously STUCK.

Truth bomb: YOU WERE NOT PUT HERE TO MAKE EVERYONE ELSE COMFORTABLE.

YOUR VOICE, your truth, your AUTHENTICITY matters more than any outdated expectation.

So, it's time to FLIP THE SCRIPT and rock that damn boat.

Because here's the kicker — the waves you make are EXACTLY what the world needs.

QUICK REFLECTION EXERCISE:

  • Think of ONE situation from this past week where you held your tongue to "keep the peace."
  • Now, IMAGINE speaking up authentically — no fear, no filter. How would it feel? What might change?
    • BTW ... no filter does not mean you have to swear up, down, left, right 🤬 no filter means speaking your truth 🔥
  • Write down ONE small commitment you'll make this week to honor your truth over comfort.

⚡ Authenticity Check-In: Real Talk — Are You REALLY Keeping It Real?

Here's your moment to PAUSE.

Right now.

Deep breath in...and out.

Now let's get REAL honest:

HOW AUTHENTIC WERE YOU THIS WEEK — REALLY?

Did you silence your voice to keep the peace?

Did you trade your TRUTH for approval?

Are you STILL shrinking yourself to fit into someone else's definition of "GOOD"?

No judgment here — just fierce, loving clarity.

Because authenticity isn't a one-time choice. woman confidently smiling in mirror reflection
It's a daily rebellion.

And you're HERE because you're ready to BREAK THE DAMN CODE.

Right now, grab your phone or notebook.
Write down one situation from this past week where your authentic self got sidelined.

Then answer:

  • What FEAR made you hold back?
  • What's ONE thing you'd do differently next time?

Now here's your action step — ready?

Commit to ONE tiny act of authenticity TODAY.

Speak your mind.
Wear what YOU want.
Say NO to what's draining you.

You choose.
But CHOOSE.

📣 Unfiltered Advice From Me to You

STOP. SAYING. YES. WHEN. YOU. MEAN. HELL. NO.

I see you.
You're exhausted, drained, and secretly resentful because you're OVERcommitting your time, energy, and soul to EVERYONE ELSE'S dreams.
And for what?
To maintain that shiny, sparkly "good girl" image society handed you?

ENOUGH ALREADY.

Saying YES to others when your heart screams NO isn't kindness.
It's betrayal — of YOU.

Let's get real:
Nobody awards you points for self-sacrifice.
And YOUR happiness?
It’s not up for negotiation.

So here's my unapologetic advice:
Practice giving fewer, clearer, more powerful "NOs."
Start this week.
Today even.
You'll be SHOCKED how liberating it feels to own your boundaries like the BADASS you are.

Now YOUR turn:
Hit reply and tell me —
What's ONE thing you're committed to saying NO to this week?
I'm ALL ears and ready to cheer you on.
